An Audience of Chairs
Maura Mackenzie, portrayed by Carolina Bartczak, is convinced that she can conquer the world. As her career as a concert pianist begins to soar, her beauty and talent seem sufficient to conceal the inner turmoil threatening to overwhelm her. However, with a husband (played by Chris Jacot) who is often absent and two young daughters at home, her fragile mental state starts to deteriorate. One summer day, driven by a surge of manic energy, she makes a grave error that alters her life irreversibly. The repercussions for Maura are devastating: her ambitious husband flees, taking their children with him, leaving Maura to spiral into a complete breakdown. The life she once knew is shattered. With the support of her father, Ian (played by Peter MacNeill), Maura strives to rebuild her life and hopes for a miracle to reunite her with her daughters. But when destiny intervenes, is it possible to forgive the past?
