Artifacts of Idealism

A rich retiree, obsessed with achieving aesthetic perfection, enlists the help of a private investigator’s eager young intern to track an amateur model whose face he spots in a local reproduction of a Rossetti painting. The retiree and the intern form a quick friendship and, with the assistance of an aspiring pickup artist, subtly weave themselves into the girl’s life as she begins her university journey amidst a backdrop of student protests in Montreal.
