Jugni (Firefly) symbolizes the rhythm of the soul and the spirit that roams freely. This essence is embodied by Vibhavari, known as Vibs, a music director on the brink of her first major opportunity in the Hindi film industry. As her professional and personal life with her live-in boyfriend Sid reach a critical point, Vibs embarks on a journey filled with hope to discover new music. Her quest leads her to a village in Punjab, where she seeks out Bibi Saroop, whose voice holds the promise Vibs is yearning for. However, destiny has other plans, as she encounters Mastana, Bibi’s son, a talented singer who captures Vibs’ heart. Jugni then unfolds as a tale of finding equilibrium, making difficult choices, navigating life’s dramatic twists and turns, and ultimately discovering a place to call home—a sanctuary for the heart where the firefly shines its brightest.
