Meltdown

“Meltdown” is a zombie comedy that blends the styles of “Shaun of the Dead” and “Mad Max.” It expands on a short film that earned Jake Mulliken and Lucky4Productions the title of RAW Artists’ Pittsburgh Filmmaker of the Year in November 2013. The story centers on Zeke (Robert McMurray), Callie (Alicia Marie Marcucci), Les (Seth Gontkovic), and Hunter (Jake Mulliken) as they gather for drinks on the eve of Hunter’s 29th birthday in their seemingly uneventful hometown of Somerset. However, their day takes a dark turn when everyone they know suddenly becomes vicious, flesh-eating monsters. The group must fight their way through the undead remains of their friends and family, only to find themselves on the edge of a post-apocalyptic world filled with creatures and the constant danger posed by other survivors.
