Arrogant, self-absorbed, and prone to self-sabotage, Jimmy Shive-Overly believes that all relationships are destined to fail. On the other hand, Gretchen Cutler, who is both skeptical and obstinate yet eager to please, is convinced that relationships aren’t her thing. When they cross paths at a wedding, it seems inevitable that they end up going home together. Against their own expectations, they start to develop feelings for one another.
