The Lost Brother

Cetarti is engulfed in a void of aimlessness. Unemployed and lacking direction, he spends his days glued to the TV, watching documentaries. His monotonous routine is shattered when he learns that his mother and brother have been brutally murdered. This news prompts him to journey from Buenos Aires to the rundown town of Lapachito in Chaco, northern Argentina, to handle their remains and claim the life insurance payout. In Lapachito, he encounters Duarte, a local figure of authority and an associate of his mother’s killer, who is also involved in kidnapping for ransom. As Cetarti becomes entangled in Duarte’s sinister operations, he finds himself resorting to unlawful activities to secure the insurance money, culminating in a bizarre and unforeseen conclusion.
