Mika and her horse, Ostwind, have settled into a true home at the Kaltenbach farm with Mika’s grandmother. However, the demands of managing a therapy center and Mika’s growing reputation as a horse-whisperer leave her feeling constrained, with little time to ride freely. Following a heated argument with her grandmother, Mika quietly embarks on a nighttime journey to eastern Andalusia, Spain, where she believes Ostwind’s origins lie.
